The one behind the camera at Elizabeth Charlotte Portraits.
For the past 3 years, I have been photographing families from all over the North West. Specialising in the art of newborn photography and I have developed a timeless and elegant style. Being in such a specialised industry, your newborn’s safety and comfort is paramount. Having trained with some of the best photographers in the world, you’re in the best hands.
I have welcomed so many families into my Chester studio. Seen their once tiny humans grow, and then return with the newest member of the family. It’s the biggest honour to be part of and to tell each families story.
The newborn stage, is the shortest stage of a human's life.

Your Chester Newborn Experience

When you book in, a session fee will be taken to secure your due date. You will then receive a detailed questionnaire so you can tell me about your preferences for the photoshoot. You can also tell me here if there is anything special you’d like me to create.
A prep guide a couple of days before the session with tips to get the most out of your session.

Session
Our Chester based studio is cosy and warm, so you will find your session to be calm and peaceful. Your little one will get as many feeding breaks as needed and of course lot’s of cuddles too.
The session will last between 2-4 as every session is baby led. If having family images, this is usually done at the end. Whilst I work, you can enjoy some quiet time on our cosy sofa, catch up on some Netflix whilst enjoying some complimentary refreshments.

Delivery
You will be invited back to view your gorgeous images 2 weeks later. Here is where you will choose the package you would like and any additional wall art to suite your home. After the appointment, you will be sent a link to download your chosen images.

Your Questions
It’s advised to book your shoot whilst you are still pregnant and we take bookings as early as your 12 week scan. Once your baby arrives, we will arrange a date and time for you to come into the studio within the first 5-21 days of their birth.
Newborns tend to be the most sleepy and curly at this time, ensuring the best possible photos.
Before your session, we will discuss what styles you love, colour pallets and any special requests you may have. It’s best to use colour schemes which compliment your home.
Your session will last around 3 hours, as it gives chance for feeding, changing and of course, lots of cuddles! The session is completely baby led and so I won’t rush your baby, so please don’t make any plans for directly after incase we need to go over.
Your images will go through the highest standard of hand editing. You will be invited back to the studio around 2 weeks later to view your beautiful gallery, where you can decide what you would like to purchase.
All decisions must be made at this appointment and payment is made on this day.
If you wish to purchase just a few digitals and some wall art, you don’t have to buy a package. The minimum spend for this is £299.
